Through our work in mechanical and electrical engineering, the complexity of the systems under design, often necessitated innovating approaches. To solve the engineering challenges in a manner which was timely, moved me ever more into finding solutions through custom software. By writing programs, and designing databases that scaled along with the project, I was better able to obtain my goal: Engineering designs for complex systems, done in a consistent, methodical manner, with error-checking built into the process.
